Desktop Computer Review: USB 2.0 LED Black Laptop PC Mac Notebook Light Travel Size Review

I've been looking for a USB lamp ever since I purchased my laptop in December of 2007. All the local shops: Best Buy, Radio Shack, Circuit City Etc used to carry them. No one does now. I was already making a purchase from amazon so I decided to try 2 different lamps since they were so inexpensive. I purchased this one and the 10 led lamp from HDE. I'm glad I bought both. The 2 lamp is very secure on it's flexible shaft and has an on/off switch on the positive side. On the negative side it just doesn't get the job done. It is too dim to cover more than 1/4 to 1/3 of the keyboard. You would need one on each side in order to see the keyboard in a dark room. The 10 LED lamp on the other hand covers the whole keyboard with light to spare. It is a little top heavy for the flexible shaft, but I'll put up with having to adjust it now & then in order to have enough light. If your laptop is kept on a flat surface or a slight incline then it's rock steady. Do yourself a favor, buy the 10 led lamp, the smaller one just doesn't cut it.Dave
