Desktop Computer Review: Toshiba MK3008GAL - Hard drive - 30 GB - internal - 1.8" - ATA-100 - 4200 rpm

This isn't a review of the Toshiba drive itself, but of the seller: CrazyDavesToolShed. I placed an order for this drive on 8/8/08. Almost two weeks later I got an email from Amazon that they had not received confirmation from the seller that the item had shipped. After contacting the seller I got a reply that they canceled my order because the last drive they had in stock was "defective". The drive on Amazon was labeled as NEW so, unless the drive had physical damage I don't know how they would have determined that it was defective. So I wasted two weeks waiting for an item that I will now have to reorder from someone else. Since the order was canceled, Amazon removed all record of the transaction from my order history and I was not able to leave seller feedback which is why I wrote this review here.
