Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 - Hard drive - 160 GB - internal - 3.5" - ATA-133 - 7200 rpm - buffer: 8 MB Review

I attempted to install the Hitachi DeskStar 7K160 Drive right after it arrived but unfortunately it was DOA.Wouldn't spin or start up, all it did was "click" (a sure sign of a dead drive).I went out and bought a Maxtor Drive which was immediatly recognized by my computer and installed without a hitch (or a click).I have since received an RMA from the Amazon vendor who sold me the Hitachi drive and was told I would receive a full refund once the drive arrives at their facility.I'm still waiting for them to send me a pre-paid FedEx shipping label so I can return the DeathStar.
