Nexus 120mm Real Silent Case Fan D12SL-12 Review

This is indeed the quietest fan that I've heard.Running at 12v inside the closed case, I can hear it from 10 feet away, but only late at night, when everyone's gone to bed and everything else has been turned off.I can barely hear it over my 32" CRT TV.

At 7v, this fan is nearly silent, and is inaudible a foot or two from the case.Air flow is expectedly reduced at lower voltages, so you might need more fans in your case (I have four), but if they're made by Nexus, you certainly won't hear them.

Note:At 5v, the fan cannot be heard from one foot away with the case open, but air flow is too greatly diminished to be useful in most situations.I would recommend 7v; you won't be disappointed.

The use of a 4 wire PWM controlled fans is a means to reduce the overall system acoustics. The expectation is a 4 wire PWM controlled fan when properly implemented will be significantly quieter than a similar 3 wire fan.

U.S. ROBOTICS USR5633A 56K USB Faxmodem Review

This little modem, was supposed to be jewel of the dial-up modem range.Capable of handling the new v.92 standard among other things.

Plugging in was not point and click, and drivers needed to be installed first.After which i unsuccessfully got the thing working with my isp.

eventually after much sweat and altering of the myriad of settings - which makes it difficult to navigate, time consuming and unless you're a techie, useless - got connected at 12 kb/s.I checked the line, and computer settings, but no luck at increasing the bandwidth.

The hype of such a modem has gone to the heads of its maker - it doesn't work properly, and needs to be corrected.

All in all it was a shocking disappointment.On the positive side, the fax part of the modem works beautifully with no hassle whatsoever - how strange?

HQRP Behind the Neck Stereo Headset with Boom Microphone Review

Best bang for buck.headphones are not surround sound but good quality.I would have given it five stars but the headset does not adjust for cranium size. Tested microphone with windows movie maker, picked up kids watching a movie about twenty feet away and I heard clearly what they had said. Overall good quality, comfortable, and they look geeky-cool.

the result for the test :
1.memory read 7518 MB/S
2.memory write 6956 MB/S
3.memory copy 7130 MB/S
4.memory Latency 75.2 NS
these result for corsair ddr3 1333MHZ 2GB 9-9-9-24 CR2
the ram is very fast in copy ,read , write but not that good in latency
in the end is very good ram.

Seagate Momentus 5400.3 ST9120822A - Hard drive - 120 GB - internal - 2.5" - ATA-100 - 5400 rpm - buffer: 8 MB Review

I had a Hitachi 80GB notebook hard disk on my MAC that developed bad sector and thus I had to look for a replacement. When asked my friends and some experts on what brnad would be best buy, they were 60-40 divided between Seagate and Hitachi. So, I decided to go with the brand with more votes. And I am glad that I purchased this one.

After putting it on my MAC, I booted with the install hard disk and tried partitioning. Whala..the partitioning was done in a flash and I was ready to do the install. Also, it is dead quiet during operation. I found the install was also way faster than my previous experiences.

After the install is over, my MAC now boots and responds faster than before and the only thing changed is the hard disk. So it is definitely this tine little notebook hard disk that did the trick. I would definitely recommed others to buy Seagate.
