I love this dock!I have an Apple MacBook Pro 17" and an HP nx6125 that I use with this dock and a laptop stand, plus my mouse/keyboard/printer & 19" Acer monitor. to be clear, I work in Windows OS with my MB Pro...

I just plug the usb cable into whichever laptop I'm using, and I'm connected to all the peripherals.I haven't had any issues with having to adjust settings each time....

The best thing with this dock is, because I use both my laptop screen and the Acer LCD monitor together (the monitor is supplemental to the laptop monitor), i can use the "Dual View" setting on this dock, which makes both monitors into one landscape.This means I can have certain documents/aps open on one screen while i work on something else on the other screen.It's AWESOME!

and if for some reason you want each monitor to display the same thing (i.e. "clone" view), then you just press the button on the front of the dock and it automatically & quickly makes the change.And you can switch back by pressing it again.

There's a USB port on the front of the dock for easy access(plus 4 in the back).

I love this dock, and it's perfect for me because I have two different makes of laptops.
