128GB Ide Ssd Mlc Build-in Ecc 2.5INI bought this 128GB SSD drive in April 2009 to replace a 120GB PATA drive I had in my laptop so I did not have to worry about the drive being put out of business due to shock or vibration. It has fulfilled that purpose. However, my observation is that its speed is not really better than its disk counterpart and I also noticed that power usage went up, that is, my laptop hibernated faster than it did with my hard disk. Am theorizing that, maybe, the SSD drive does not shut down when idle. Overall, I have not reinstalled my hard disk drive and am pleased with my purchase.
