When My old computer's hard drive gave up the ghost, I still wanted to keep it active for special projects. After looking around for a replacement, I found this 80 Gigabyte drive and ordered it. This is a refurbished drive, and as delivered ran perfectly. It is just the right size of capacity for my older Dell and the ATA system was fully compatible with the motherboard and connectors. I installed the drive and then used my Microsoft Windows XP installation disk to place Windows XP back on the computer. The price was quite reasonable and I expect to get a number of good years from the drive. I recommend it as a replacement in an older computer that uses the ATA system.
