Kingston has long been a reliable memory brand and I've never had an issue with their products. So when it came to upgrade I didn't hesitate to go with them again. I have a June '04 Power Mac G5 and need to fill 2 empty memory slots. This kit does just that. While not mind blowing, the speed increase was perceptible, especially when I am using graphics intensive programs like Photoshop and running several applications at once. My system is stable and runs well and since these sticks are designed to meet Apple spec, I am confident it will remain that way. They cost a little more than the value brand, but for the peace of mind they are worth it.
