LSI Logic LSI00154 LSI20320IE 1CH U320 SCSI PCI Express 1 Int 1 Ext Channel Lp Leadfree Controller Review

I needed a U320 SCSI controller after my old motherboard with on-board SCSI had died.The new board lacked such a controller.I searched for hours for a U320 card that didn't have the added cost of RAID, didn't cost $600 and didn't require my x16 PCI slot (I used the x4 slot) and wasn't limited to a regular PCI bus speed.LSI has made the on-board SCSI controllers on many of the motherboards I've used so I trust that this card should be just as reliable.

This controller works fine in Ubuntu 9.10 x86-64 and 64-bit Windows 7 Professional.
