Desktop Computer Review: Buffalo DriveStation 250 GB Desktop External Hard Drive HD-HB250U2 (Black) Review

I have had the unit for almost a year and I consider it a very good buy.I have had no problems with failures or file corruption or security or anything.Maybe I got lucky, but I bought this unit after a lot of research on the web and really feel like I made the right decision.The transfer time between the unit and my computer is phenomenal, it behaves as if it were directly integrated into the computer rather than an USB-attached add-on.In the home network, it also communicates (through it's base computer) speedily and without any interruption.I have had an occasional trouble with the power cord, but I believe this may have more to do with the placement of the unit amongst all my other gadgets than to any fault of the manufacturer.I may even buy another of these, because I've already used most of the space in this one.

Don't be turned off buy negative reviews here, there are many good commentaries about Buffalo and their HDs all over the net and I have been very happy with my unit.
