After upgrading my Mac Mini to an Intel T7600 and applying Arctic Silver 5, my processor's average temperature dropped from 170 degrees F to 140. Make sure to use only enough to lay a light film over the CPU. One tube seems to have enough paste to cover dozens of CPUs.
