This drive can also be used to replace the system hard drive in the ThinkPad A, T, X, and R Series laptops. In addition, when used with the optional ThinkPad 2nd HDD Adapter for Ultrabay Slim, this drive can be installed as a second HDD in the bay of the ThinkPad T40 Series for a high-speed backup system or for additional hard disk capacity.
