Centon 4GBKIT1066D3LT 4GB KIT PC3-8500 1066MT/S DDR3 SODIMM Memory Module Review

I purchased this upgrade kit for my late 2008 macbook pro based on the technical details on the Amazon web page.However, the kit I was sent was not compatible with my system.I had to pay shipping back to Centon to get a replacement that works perfectly.

This item's model number is:R1066SO2048K2.On the Centon website, the mac compatible model number is:RA1066SO2048K2 (note RA instead of R at the beginning of the model number).The original kit I received was indeed the R1066SO2048K2 version, but the replacement kit I was sent is the mac version:RA1066SO2048K2.

I don't know if there is a problem with the technical details information, or the rams I originally received were bad.Centon's customer service was quite good, but a little slower than I wanted.I did get the correct rams for my system, it just took a couple of weeks to resolve, send in the rams, and get the new rams back.
