Got this a week ago, I had A-Power's 900w and killed it when i tried swapping out the stock noisy fan, set back of $70, my fault. Bought this 1100w to give the brand another try, died in less than a week. For the money, around $100, it's most likely cheaply made when one considers other name brands are more expensive and probably more reliable. molex and sata connectors are on other side of psu, unusual and very hard for wire management. My system has two ati cards in crossfire, even though this has the required connectors, it could not handle 1-2 hours of gaming, it sparked and popped, disco all wires and checked my components. did not power on again. out another $100. Total: $170, could have bought a name brand psu and better performance. Dont want to go thru the hassel of rma w/ mnftr as geeks.com will not touch it (geeks says sales are final and warranty goes through manufacturer) If you have a single gpu, buy it at your own risk, if you have expensive components invest in something name brand and more money, it will be worth it, Im going with either Antec, Corsair (very popular), Cooler Master, or another major brand player. Stay away unless if you want bragging rights of 1100w system, not worth the money and potential to harm you components. Pros:
-inexpensive
-case looks great and red fan
Cons:
-Cheap
-Cheap
-Cheap
-Died in less than a week
-built in harness is split on both sides (wth ???)
