Screen- 18.4", Full HD, 1920 by 1080 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio. Biggest screen I have ever had (or seen) on a laptop.

Photographer's Laptop- Built in compact flash port, runs Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS4 quickly, screen makes photos look phenomenal and makes editing a breeze, included Roxio CD/DVD burning software that makes it easy to to put finished photos on a disk

Powerful system great price- 4 Gigs of Ram, 640 GB Hard Drive. This is by far the fastest laptop to date. Watching TV with an external tuner while running several resource-demanding applications such as Photoshop CS4 This is a virtual power house. Full numeric keypad- Something I've always missed in a laptop and now I have it. No more cramping hands on those 'almost useful' regular keyboard adaptations. No need for a desktop with this laptop its everything you will ever need.
Built in speakers with subwoofer, the best laptop sound I have ever heard!

Window 7 or Vista your choice. I personally love Windows 7 it is by far one of Microsofts best operating systems. It runs all my programs from Windows XP, Media Center Edition and Vista with absolutely no problem. My Sony Location free player (similar to slingbox) software loaded without a hitch enabling me to watch my cable an access my DVD's and Cd's anywhere in the world where there is an internet conection.

Sony products are some of the best products in the world. They seldom break down. One of my Sony TV's is twenty five years old, this television runs for hours everyday and never a problem. All products and support updates are always available from Sony at no cost, no need to search for software, manuals or drivers. A definite plus.

I have purchased Sony products for many many years and have never been disappointed. Sony makes a quality product and stands behind what they sell. My VGN-AR series laptop lasted three years virtually trouble free. The logo says it all " Best of all Its a Sony ! "
