Seagate Momentus 5400.3 ST9120822A - Hard drive - 120 GB - internal - 2.5" - ATA-100 - 5400 rpm - buffer: 8 MB Review

I had a Hitachi 80GB notebook hard disk on my MAC that developed bad sector and thus I had to look for a replacement. When asked my friends and some experts on what brnad would be best buy, they were 60-40 divided between Seagate and Hitachi. So, I decided to go with the brand with more votes. And I am glad that I purchased this one.

After putting it on my MAC, I booted with the install hard disk and tried partitioning. Whala..the partitioning was done in a flash and I was ready to do the install. Also, it is dead quiet during operation. I found the install was also way faster than my previous experiences.

After the install is over, my MAC now boots and responds faster than before and the only thing changed is the hard disk. So it is definitely this tine little notebook hard disk that did the trick. I would definitely recommed others to buy Seagate.
