I've got this desktop for almost 2 weeks. No problem so far. I bought this system to replace my 3-year old laptop and it turns out to be a good decision. Personally, I am not a big fan of a slimline pc. It's because that we may be moving in near future, a smaller one is preferred at this time.

Pros:
1. Very quite. The only two fans are for the CPU and power supply, and both are quite.

2. Very fast and multi-tasking. I feel this is a huge jump from my old laptop with windows xp. It is very fast on both starting up and shutting down. Opening a second application is just like opening the first one.

3. Small and light-weighted. I don't feel it occupying a space when it's on the table. The system (without keyboard and mouse) is about 10.4 lb.

4. The price. Q8300 plus windows 7 home. Bang for the buck. Shipping and processing was fast from J&R.

Cons:
1. The graphic. It has an onboard nVidia GeForece 7100 chipset. I'd say this is adequate for web surfing, video clips and watching DVDs. But this is not designed for heavy gaming. Windows experience index has it graphics at 3.9 and gaming graphics at 3.3.

2. Future expansion. There are PCI express x16 and x1 slots on the higher end of themotherboard. If you want to add a video card by using the PCIe x 16, the case can only accept a low-profile card. Since the PCIe x16 slot is the highest and not much space left, heat dissipation might not be very well.

3. No speakers. Since we already have a 2.1 stereo system, this is not a problem for us. But my wife was surprised that there was no speakers in the box.

I am not a high-tech person and so far I am satisfied with this desktop. 4GB DDR2 800 ram may sound a bit small, but the fact is that I've never used more than 40% of them.
