This desktop tower has the 95W version of Phenom X4 9750.Performance wise, it's comparable to the Intel Q6600 Quad Core processor. In the Vista performance indicator, both CPU's get a 5.9 on computational power.Since this uses the nforce chipset for both the SATA DVD writer and SATA hard drives, you may have some issues reinstalling Vista or other OS's on it; but with the proper drivers from Nvidia, it shouldn't present a big problem. With the PC, you also get a Geforce 9100 integrated graphics (with DVI and VGA out), which makes it pretty great as a non-gaming workstation. There's 1 full sized PCI-E that can take a graphics card upgrade. The power supply is only 300W, but that's still mostly sufficient for something like a low powered version of the Nvidia 9600GT card (which is what I upgraded with), as the CPU itself doesn't take as much power. The 750GB HD is nice a big. The layout of the case is a little odd (inverted from most PC's, as it opens from the right rather than the left), but is plenty spacious and has good airflow.Great value for $600.(I bought this from Fry's Electronics on sale for $550 + tax, which ends up being pretty close to the $600 price tag.)
