I installed Rebit on a PC with dual 2.6 GHz processors and 3 GB of memory running Vista Home Premium (service pack 2).The installation did not go exactly as described in terms of registering the product, but appeared to be working.After encountering some apparent side effects, I contacted the manufacturer.Using new instructions from Rebit technical support, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and hardware, but the instructions for registering the product did not work.Nonetheless, the product does appear to be registered and functioning.

However, ever since the initial installation, there have been three problems:
1) some of the previously functioning gadgets do not load properly at times (i.e., fail to connect to the Internet or appear in a graphically fragmented image);
2) Dragon NaturallySpeaking sometimes crashes when attempting to save a file; and,
3) attempting to "safely disconnect" Rebit usually doesn't work and results in a Microsoft error message. I haven't needed to recover a file or revert the system using Rebit yet; there apparently is no way to recover the files created using Dragon NaturallySpeaking when they have not been successfully saved at least once prior to crashing.

E-mail responses from Rebit Support were generally prompt and positive, but ultimately they concluded "I understand the issue with the "Safely Disconnect" and regret that it is currently being addressed by our development team. However, I'm unaware of a release date for any improvements with that feature."
