I did not need this in a hurry so I ordered it from Amazon. It is excellent quality RAM with a compact design that takes half the space of the old modules from Apple that shipped with the Mac Pro. You need to replace these in pairs though having 4 of the same capacity is even better for performance (using both banks for both processors). There is adequate heat sink on the module to minimize overheating and these meet the requirements for use in a Mac Pro computer. There are slightly cheaper modules advertised by they lack the heat sink and it is not a good idea to use them in a Mac.
