I bought two of these in the 1850 RPM flavor. They are three pin fans, so you don't get PWM functionality with them. That can, however, be solved by using a fan controller or software. These fans make good CPU cooler fans because in addition to moving around 58CFM, they also have high static pressure. And yes, they really are almost silent, even at 1850rpms. They are also balanced fans. They take over 30 seconds to spin down after you shut them off, which demonstrates how well they are balanced.
