I have tested almost every feature on the RAID.Some just for fun. My day job is working with networks and servers. This device is really flexible for the home or small office. In my testing put a bunch of data on a four disk RAID.I then tried the RAID expansion to replace the disk with larger disks. The process worked until the last drive. The disk would not replace properly. So I rebuilt the RAID and replaced in a different order.Again the last replace would not work.I then tried putting the old drive back into the RAID and the RAID was completely lost.THIS MEANS I WOULD HAVE LOST ALL THE DATA.So... I say this as a reminder.ALWAYS have a full backup before doing any RAID changes. This has been the case in the past.. and this device has not changed my opinion about that.Hopefully an update to the unit will allow this to work properly either way.Click Here to see more reviews about: QNAP Pro 6-Bay Desktop Network Attached Server TS-659
