Dymo LM210D Desktop Kit Case 2 Tapes AA Batt Ac Adapter Review

I looked at several labelers before this purchase, the Brother line-up and the Dymo line-up. Both brands work very well, but I found some differences in conveniences and price. I use the Brother P-touch at work and it does ok for what I need but the price is expensive, over $100 and the tapes are expensive and also difficult to peal the back off. I like the Dymo much better than the Brother. I use the Dymo at home because it is reasonally priced with case for around $49., has a power supply, comes with a case and has some nice labeling layouts that the Brother does not have even at three times the cost. I like the case because everything is organized and easy to carry. The power supply, extra tapes can be stored in the case, which is what this is all about "organize-organize-organize". The D1 tapes apply very easily, just bend the tape a little in the middle and peel half the label off then repeat for the other half. If I had to say some improvement for the LM210 would be the display can be difficult to read due to contrast and reflective light and it could use some kind of backlight. I have not used the labels for cloth yet but that is my next step. There are many variaties of tape/color combinations in the D1 style tapes. You will love this labeler.
